What is JU-JITSU in short words?

A sport developed from jujitsu in which opponents attempt to throw each other by using quick movements and leverage.

What is the moral of JU-JITSU?

Politeness, respect for others. Courage, to do what is right. Sincerity, to express oneself without hiding one's thoughts. Honour, being true to your word.

EQUIPMENTS REQUIRED FOR JU-JITSU

“Gi”-: The traditional uniform worn in Judo. It consists of a jacket, pants, and a belt.

“Belt”-: Represents the practitioner's rank, with colors ranging from white (beginner) to black (expert).

Between white and black, there are various colored belts.

“Tatami”-: The mat on which Judo is practiced. It's padded to ensure safety when throwing or falling.

“Judogi’-: The specific type of “GI” used for Judo competitions. It's generally made of thicker material than those used in other martial arts like Karate.

SELF-DEFENSE SCHOOL FACILITIES

1. Training Areas

Main Dojo/Gym: Spacious, well-equipped training hall with padded flooring for safe practice.
Striking Zone: Designated area with punching bags, speed bags, and focus mitts.
Grappling/Mats Area: Soft-mat flooring for practicing throws, takedowns, and groundwork.
Weapons Training Area (if applicable): Safe zone for practicing self-defense against weapons.

2. Equipment & Gear

Protective Gear: Gloves, shin guards, headgear, mouthguards.
Training Weapons: Wooden sticks, rubber knives, padded weapons for safe practice.
Fitness Equipment: Weights, agility ladders, resistance bands for strength training.

3. Classroom & Theory Section

Lecture Room: Equipped with whiteboards, projectors, and study materials for theoretical lessons.
Video Analysis Zone: For reviewing self-defense techniques and real-life scenarios.

4. Safety & First Aid

First Aid Station: Fully stocked with medical kits for minor injuries.
Emergency Response Plan: Staff trained in CPR and emergency handling.

5. Locker Rooms & Amenities

Men’s & Women’s Changing Rooms: Secure lockers and shower facilities.
Waiting Lounge: Comfortable seating area for students and parents.
Refreshment Zone: Water dispensers and energy-boosting snacks available.
